Yamaha TDM900 (2002 - 2011)

The Yamaha TDM900 is a 900cc sport touring motorcycle that feels more like an oversized supermoto. It is great for riding around town and commuting, but is fast and comfortable enough for long-distance travel.

It comes with a powerful parallel-twin engine that allows the motorcycle reach maximum speed of up to 139 mph. Its incredible top speed and horsepower makes it one of the fastest bikes you can ride on an A2 licence.

The Yamaha TDM900 has replaced the older TDM850 model, which was a much slower and heavier motorcycle.

A2 Licence Compliance

The Yamaha TDM900 is a 897cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 63 kW (86 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 44.4% to become A2 licence compliant.

You will need a restrictor to ride the Yamaha TDM900 on an A2 motorbike licence. See the restrictor kits section to check out what restrictors are available for the Yamaha TDM900.
