Triumph Daytona 660 (2024 onwards)

The Triumph Daytona 660 is a middleweight sports bike based on the Tridend 660. Both of these motorcycles come with the same 660cc inline-three-cylinder engine, but the Daytona offers slightly more horsepower. It is still not a true super-sport bike though, so don’t expect it to compete with some other motorcycles in the category, such as the Honda CBR650RR.

What this bike truly excels in is comfort and accessibility. It is an affordable, beginner-friendly and easy-to-ride motorcycle suitable for A2 licence holders when restricted.

A2 Licence Compliance

The Triumph Daytona 660 is a 660cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 70 kW (93 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 50% to become A2 licence compliant.

You will need a restrictor to ride the Triumph Daytona 660 on an A2 motorbike licence. See the restrictor kits section to check out what restrictors are available for the Triumph Daytona 660.
