Suzuki DR-Z4SM (2025 onwards)

The Suzuki DR-Z4SM is a supermoto version of the DR-Z4S dual-sport bike. It replaces the older Suzuki DRZ400SM model, which has been one of the best-selling supermotos of all time.

The bike features a modern design with an improved headlight that is much smaller than before. The engine remains the same, but it is now electronically injected for increased fuel efficiency. The 5-speed gearbox hasn’t been updated, which is a big letdown.

The bike is now slightly heavier than before, but it comes with lots of new features, such as an updated KYB suspension, Nissin brakes, ABS, rider modes, and traction control.

A2 Licence Compliance

The Suzuki DR-Z4SM is a 398cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 28 kW (38 bhp), which is within the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. No restriction is required, as the bike is fully A2 licence compliant.
