Royal Enfield Bear 650 (2025 onwards)

The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is an affordable scrambler-style motorcycle based on the Interceptor 650. It is named after the famous race “Big Bear Run” across the Californian desert that took place back in the 1960s.

Compared to the regular Interceptor 650, the Bear 650 comes with a different suspension, wheels, and styling. The frame geometry remains unchanged, but there are some slight changes to the rear loop/subframe.

The bike comes with the same parallel twin engine you will find in all other 650cc Royal Enfield bikes, such as the Super Meteor 650. It is a great all-around engine that might not be that powerful at just 47 bhp, but it is fully A2 legal.

A2 Licence Compliance

The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is a 648cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 35 kW (47 bhp), which is within the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. No restriction is required, as the bike is fully A2 licence compliant.
