KTM 890 Adventure (2020 onwards)

The KTM 890 Adventure is an off-road adventure bike that looks and feels more like a sports-tourer. It is a bigger and more powerful version of the 790 Adventure, which has been one of the best-selling motorcycles in the category.

The 890 Adventure offers more punch over the 790 Adventure, but it is also a heavier machine. Therefore, it is not an ideal bike for beginner riders. Nevertheless, there is an A2 variant available that is limited to 35kW.

Please note that the below specifications are for the regular non-A2 compliant KTM 890 Adventure model, rather than the 35kW / 70kW A2-compliant one.

A2 Licence Compliance

The KTM 890 Adventure is a 889cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 77 kW (103 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 54.5% to become A2 licence compliant.

You will need a restrictor to ride the KTM 890 Adventure on an A2 motorbike licence. See the restrictor kits section to check out what restrictors are available for the KTM 890 Adventure.
