KTM 790 Adventure R (2019 - 2020)

The KTM 790 Adventure R is an off-road oriented adventure bike with a modern design and lots of interesting features. It is lightweight, super-easy to handle and comfortable enough for long rides. It comes with a fully-adjustable suspension, ABS, TFT dash and rider modes as standard.

Compared to the regular KTM 790 Adventure model, the “R” version has a smaller screen, taller seat and better suspension. Other than that, these bikes are almost identical and they can be both ridden on an A2 licence when restricted to 35kW.

A2 Licence Compliance

The KTM 790 Adventure R is a 799cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 70 kW (94 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 50% to become A2 licence compliant.

You will need a restrictor to ride the KTM 790 Adventure R on an A2 motorbike licence. See the restrictor kits section to check out what restrictors are available for the KTM 790 Adventure R.
