Yes, you can ride the KTM 660 SMC (2002 - 2006) on an A2 motorbike licence. However, you will need to fit a restrictor kit to reduce its power output and make it A2 licence compliant!
KTM 660 SMC (2002 - 2006)
The KTM 660 SMC is a bigger and more powerful version of the legendary 625 SMC. It comes with the same LC4 engine that is so powerful, it had to be restricted to only 32bhp to be road legal. However, you can get the bike fully un-restricted with almost double the power.
A2 Licence Compliance
The KTM 660 SMC is a 654cc A2-friendly supermoto bike. It has a power output of 44 kW (60 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 20.4% to become A2 licence compliant. (source: KTM 660 SMC specifications)
