Yes, you can ride the KTM 625 SMC (2003 - 2007) on an A2 motorbike licence. However, you will need to fit a restrictor kit to reduce its power output and make it A2 licence compliant!
KTM 625 SMC (2003 - 2007)
The 625 SMC is one of the best dual-sport motorcycles KTM has ever made. The bike is equipped with the legendary LC4 engine you can in the 640 Supermoto. It is a powerful single-cylinder engine capable of riding both on and off the road.
There are two different versions of the bike available: The road-oriented 625 SMC, and the off-road 625 SXC. Both of these models come with Brembo brakes and a top-quality WP suspension.
A2 Licence Compliance
The KTM 625 SMC is a 625cc A2-friendly supermoto bike. It has a power output of 41 kW (55 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 14.6% to become A2 licence compliant.
