KTM 300 EXC TPI (2017 onwards)

The KTM 300 EXC TPI is one of the very few two-stroke off-road motorcycles you can ride on an A2 licence. It is super-light, very easy to handle and extremely powerful.

Due to its low weight (103 kg) and high power output, you will have to restrict this bike under the 35kW limit to make it 100% A2 legal.

All other off-road bikes in the family such as the KTM 250 EXC, 250 EXC-F, and 350 EXC-F should also be A2 legal when restricted.

A2 Licence Compliance

The KTM 300 EXC TPI is a 293cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 38 kW (51 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 7.89% to become A2 licence compliant.

You will need a restrictor to ride the KTM 300 EXC TPI on an A2 motorbike licence. See the restrictor kits section to check out what restrictors are available for the KTM 300 EXC TPI.
