KTM 250 EXC TPI (2017 onwards)

The KTM 250 EXC TPI is a 2-stroke 250cc dirt bike that is road-legal and can be ridden on an A2 licence in the UK and EU.

It is a great off-road bike, but don’t expect it to perform well on the street.

This bike is not intended for street use, but you will get an extremely good performance off the road, especially on a track!

It truly excels in its category and it is very hard to be beaten by other bikes.

Unfortunately, the KTM 250 EXC TPI needs to be restricted to be compliant with the A2 licence, so it is recommended to go with a different bike instead.

A2 Licence Compliance

The KTM 250 EXC TPI is a 249cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 37 kW (50 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 5.40% to become A2 licence compliant.

You will need a restrictor to ride the KTM 250 EXC TPI on an A2 motorbike licence. See the restrictor kits section to check out what restrictors are available for the KTM 250 EXC TPI.
