The BMW C Evolution is the company’s first ever electric scooter. It comes with a 12V battery-powered electric engine that offers plenty of power for street riding.

As all other electric bikes, the BMW C Evolution can accelerate almost instantly, which makes it super-enjoyable to ride. Its 12.5 kWh battery will provide up to 100 miles of range which is normal for an electric bike. It can be charged from the standard wall outlet and it takes about 3-4 hours to fully recharge.

The BMW C Evolution is equipped with a high-quality LCD display and it offers 4 different riding modes: Dynamic, Road, Sail, and Eco Pro. It is a good all-around electric scooter that you can ride on your A2 licence without restriction!

The Harley-Davidson LiveWire is the company’s first electric motorcycle. It is a hybrid between a cruiser and a naked bike, and it comes with a 15.5 kWh battery. As most other electric bikes, it has a relatively low battery range and therefore, it is more suitable for urban riding.

The motorcycle is very comfortable to ride, even on longer distances. You can switch between four riding modes (sport, road, range, and rain). The bike handles extremely well and the steering feel is very natural. The battery range is around 110 miles (177 km), which might not seem very good at first, but it is more than enough for everyday commuting.

The build quality of the motorcycle is really good, but you will have to pay for it. The Harley-Davidson LiveWire will cost you a whopping £28,000 when you purchase a new bike.

Because it is an electric motorcycle, you don’t need any A2 licence restriction, even though its horsepower exceeds the A2 licence limit. Also, you don’t have to pay the road tax.

The Zero DS is a dual-sport version of the basic model of the motorcycle, the Zero S, which is a lightweight street bike with a smaller battery. The DS, on the other hand, is a much bigger and heavier motorcycle that has a longer battery range and that is aimed at adventure riders.

The motorcycle comes with two different battery options (ZF14.4 / ZF7.2). Each of the batteries has different range and specifications. The ZF7.2 battery version (lower capacity) has a 80 miles range and is 43 kg lighter than the ZF14.4 version (higher capacity), which has a range around 105 miles.

The bike comes with an ABS and fully adjustable suspension. The torque output of the motorcycle is phenomenal. In fact, is it so powerful that you will get a better acceleration with this bike than with much bigger gas-powered dual-sport bikes such as the KTM Superduke.

So, the Zero DS is a super fun motorcycle to ride and it is one of the best dual-sport electric bikes. You can either use it for riding around town, or take it out for some country road trips. It is comfortable for longer rides and has a lot of power to offer. Unfortunately, there is no traction control, which is one of the very few downsides of the bike.

You might be thinking that electric motorcycles are not that suitable for off-road riding. The Zero DSR electric bike wants to prove the opposite. It is a dual-sport bike that has a classic adventure motorcycle design and offers extremely high amounts of torque. It is actually more powerful than some of the popular adventure bikes such as the KTM Superduke 1290. This is a phenomenal achievement for an electric motorcycle!

The Zero DSR has a power output of 69 bhp and torque output of 108 Lb/Ft, so it is a super-powerful bike. But, because of the fact that it is an electric motorcycle, you will be able to ride it with the basic A2 license in the UK and Europe, which is crazy!

The Zero DSR can be either used as a daily commuter or as a full-featured adventure bike. The only disadvantage over the conventional gas-powered motorcycles is its long battery charging time. The bike takes around 2.5 to 10 hours to charge, depending on the type of a charging station you will use. But, once the battery is fully charged, the motorcycle is capable of making 100+ mile trips.

Compared to the Zero DS, the DSR version comes with an additional wind shield and hand guards, which are both very useful accessories for adventure riding. Other than that, you will get a 12V accessory socket included with the purchase.

The Zero FX is another electric dual-sport motorcycle made by the famous American manufacturer. Compared to the Zero DSR, which is sort of an adventure bike, the FX model is rather an off-road bike with lights and turn signals.

It is powered by the “Z-force Powertrain” engine and the battery range of the motorcycle is claimed to be around 28 miles (on motorway).

You can choose from two different battery options. The base model with the ZF3.6 Modular battery is cheaper and has a shorter battery range, while the ZF7.2 battery model will give you a longer range, but it will also increase the weight of the bike.

What makes the Zero FX motorcycle a great option for off-road riding is its lightweight construction (131 kg) and single-speed transmission. The fact that you don’t have to shift gears will make your rides much more enjoyable and effective.

Without a doubt, the Zero FX is a great electric dual-sport bike that can compete with some of the most powerful gas-powered bikes in the category. You can either take it to the town, or ride it off the road, it’s up to you. But, you will surely have a lot of fun while riding it.

Zero is back with another electric motorcycle and this time it is a supermoto bike. The Zero FXS is a lightweight multi-purpose motorcycle that is a supermoto version of the Zero FX dual-sport bike.

The Zero FXS has around 100 miles of city range, but only around 56 miles of highway range, which is not that much even for an electric motorcycle. Thanks to its maximum speed of 85 mph, you will have no problems riding it on highways.

Where the motorcycle truly shines is its versatility. It is suitable even for novice riders an you will be able to use it either as a short-distance city commuter, or a long-distance motorcycle. The bike is super light and easy to ride, yet extremely powerful and the acceleration is insane. Handling is also excellent and it is one of the most maneuverable electric motorcycles on the market.

If you are looking for a good all-around electric motorcycle that looks cool, is super-fun to ride and relatively affordable, then the Zero FXS is the one you are looking for!

The Zero S is a super light electric motorcycle that offers phenomenal handling and a surprisingly good performance. Its power output of 31 bhp might seem a bit low at first, but the low weight of the bike (142 kg) combined with its powerful electric engine will ensure you will get a lot of torque.

Being a street bike, the Zero S suits best for urban areas and short distance rides. It has a small battery that will only provide about 52 miles (84 km) range for one charge, which is not that impressive. Most other electric motorcycles have much better range, but they are also considerably heavier.

The bike is equipped with a fully adjustable suspension made by Showa. It has an ABS, but there is no traction control. The build quality of the motorcycle is excellent and you will get a 2-year warranty (5 years for the battery).

The Zero S is a fantastic electric motorcycle that is super fun to ride and its running costs are very low. The only two downsides are a very low battery range and a lack of traction control.
