CFMOTO 800MT (2022 onwards)

The CFMOTO 800MT is an off-road-oriented adventure bike based on the 2019 KTM 790 Adventure. It comes from the famous Chinese manufacturer who has been making engines for various KTM motorcycles for quite some time.

The 800MT is slightly bigger and heavier compared to its older KTM sibling, but the 799cc parallel-twin engine is nearly identical. The engine produces around 90bhp, which makes the bike A2 compliant upon restriction.

In terms of equipment, the CFMOTO 800MT looks incredibly attractive on paper. You will get a variety of advanced features, including LED lights, TFT dash, riding modes, ABS, quickshifter, and cruise control. The windscreen is fully-adjustable, and it provides very good wind protection.

There are multiple versions of the bike available (Touring, Sport, Explore), and each comes with a different set of features and price tag.

A2 Licence Compliance

The CFMOTO 800MT is a 799cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 67 kW (90 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 47.7% to become A2 licence compliant.

You will need a restrictor to ride the CFMOTO 800MT on an A2 motorbike licence. See the restrictor kits section to check out what restrictors are available for the CFMOTO 800MT.
