BMW F800S (2006 - 2013)

The BMW F800S and F800ST might be twins, but they’re far from identical.

The F800ST features full fairing for sports touring, the F800S boasts sporty fairing, making it easy to tell them apart. (The yellow motorbike is the F800S and the blue bike is the F800ST).

The two bikes don’t disappoint. The engine, handling and style are all excellent qualities of the BMW F800S and F800ST.

Both bikes look great, handle well and are now affordable choices for well-seasoned riders, as well as those who wish to restrict the bikes for their A2 licence.

A2 Licence Compliance

The BMW F800S is a 798cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 62 kW (85 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 43.5% to become A2 licence compliant.

You will need a restrictor to ride the BMW F800S on an A2 motorbike licence. See the restrictor kits section to check out what restrictors are available for the BMW F800S.
